Development Services offered:

    Our development team conducts extensive product research encompassing, web, print, and retail level information gathering.

    • Engineering
    Utilizing our own product experience and the experience of our plant engineers, we incorporate current functionalities to engineer a better product.

    • Design/Prototype
    Through our pool of trade designers, as well as our own in-house product
    staff, we execute and prototype new product designs to present to the
    publisher.

Pre-Press

Codra Enterprises has consistently outperformed the field in color reproduction and color separation. From noted monotone, duotone, and tritone photography books, to full four color art pieces, we have demonstrated the skill required to please even the finest eyes of the photographers themselves.

Services offered:
    • Traditional Line Screening
    For printing from supplied films to creating film from files or original artwork, we are able to print at many varied line screens to suit the many variables of your particular printing.

    • CTP Computer-To-Plate
    We can produce CTP imaging for both traditional line screens and FM screenings. FM Screening/Spectra Screening utilizes the state-of-the-art technologies that steer away from visible line screens toward mathematical random dot placement.

    • High-Resolution Drum Scanning
    From slides, transparencies, reflective art, to original artwork, we have provided quality drum scanning at extremely reasonable rates.

    • Proofing
    We provide both traditional wet proofs and digital proofs. Our press proofs are printed on the actual production stock which provide a close representation of how the final production printing will look on press. Our digital proofs are color calibrated to the production press output. These two proofing systems provide everything necessary to represent accurately what will be printing on press. Whether its CTP or traditional printing, Codra takes the guesswork out of the final output.

    • Film Duplication
    We provide film duplication services that converts negative film to positive film suitable for printing in Asia. Please contact your representative if you have any questions when providing film for your project.

    • File Prep
    On the file side, Codra's experience can help you save valuable time. We perform light pre-flighting here on the US side to prevent delays like missing fonts or images. Our ability to ship directly to our clients has proved valuable in not only saving money, but time. When dealing with all the factors brought together in shipping from overseas, waiting for customs brokers and freight forwarders, trucking companies, etc, there are several areas where shipments can be delayed. When the entire process is handled by Codra, not only is everything expedited, but there typically is a cost savings when compared to trying to handle each faction separately. Through years of experience we have developed methodologies that simplify the entire process for both the cargo and the customer.

    For projects that require a more rapid turnaround, Codra Enterprises can arrange airshipping for any partial or full shipment.

    Providing the most economical delivery for our clients is crucial, we are able to streamline the process to get the best turnaround available.

    • Ocean/Express Trucking
    Each delivery service offers its own timeline, pricing for any service available to all our clients.
Codra's shipping capabilities have included delivery to almost any port around the world. Also, drop shipments from the plant can be arranged for quicker final delivery to the end clients. Drop shipments to major U.S. Retailers like Walmart and Target, who have strict delivery guidelines, have been hassle-free when handled by Codra. We can drop ship from Asia or divide the cargo stateside (costs vary for each).
