Codra Enterprises Names Arnie Pell Vice President of Sales

Santa Ana, CA -- May 26, 2011 -- Codra Enterprises, Inc. announced today that Arnie Pell has been named vice president of sales, a new position reporting directly to president, Gary Kim. Effective immediately, the functions of sales and marketing report to Mr. Pell as he assumes leadership and growth of the company’s sales efforts, reputation management, and personnel development efforts.

Background

Mr. Pell served most recently as vice president of sales development for Haines and Company, Inc. since 1998. In that role, he oversaw the recruiting, hiring, training, and managing for several branches within the directory division of this information services company. He also worked with the fundraising and yellow page divisions to bring on new leadership and sales development programs.

Prior to his role at Haines, Arnie spent 20 years in the chemical industry, most notably with NCH Corporation, where he spent 17 years in the direct sales arena in Texas and Louisiana. He rose from his initial sales responsibilities to senior management and corporate trainer.

Arnie earned a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas in Austin. He was born in Springfield, Illinois, raised in Dallas, Texas and currently lives in Laguna Niguel, California.

400th Anniversary First Edition 1611 King James Bible

Santa Ana, CA -- July 27, 2010 – Codra Enterprises, Inc. announced today that they have been chosen to reproduce the true first edition of the beloved 1611 King James Bible, the most printed book in the history of the world. This faithful reproduction of the King James Pulpit Bible is an example of the finest printing craftsmanship. More than a "facsimile," it is a masterpiece.

Gary Kim, CEO of Codra said, "It is an honor that The Bible Museum has chosen us to produce a Bible of such importance to the Christian world. Bible printing is one of the most demanding of all printing projects."

Bible Details

Measuring the exact size of the original 1611 printing - an enormous 17 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 5½ inches thick (including its slipcase) - this is one of the finest reproductions of the 1611 ever undertaken. Even the small quantity of decorative red ink in the prefatory section has been faithfully reproduced.

The slip case has a special raised bottom sleeve to support the weight of the pages when standing upright. Over $100,000 went into the production set-up for this magnificent creation.
